I’ve recently convinced two of my very best friends to start working out. This morning was their first session at the gym and they called me at 8am to tell me about how they had such an amazing workout and that they are even having a healthy post workout breakfast. They sent me a picture and one of the plates contained 2 eggs, a bowl of regular fat cottage cheese, whole wheat toast and a very large bowl of fruit. I explained to them that although the meal may seem “healthy,” it is very high in sugar and fat which will cause weight gain rather than their goal of weight loss.
